Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Kook mobile application
("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If
you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Kook is an AI-powered cooking assistant app that provides:
- Recipe recommendations based on your pantry ingredients
- Barcode scanning for ingredient identification
- Pantry management and organization
- Personalized cooking suggestions
- Nutritional information and cooking guidance
User Accounts
Account Creation
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
- One account per person; multiple accounts are prohibited
Acceptable Use
Permitted Uses
- Personal, non-commercial use of the App
- Scanning barcodes for personal ingredient tracking
- Sharing recipes with family and friends
- Providing feedback to improve the App
Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use the App to:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Transmit harmful or malicious code
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App
- Use the App for commercial purposes without permission
- Share false or misleading information
- Harass or abuse other users
- Collect user data without permission
AI and Machine Learning
AI Features
- Recipe recommendations are generated using AI algorithms
- AI suggestions are based on your data and preferences
- AI-generated content is provided "as is" without guarantees
Limitations
- AI recommendations may not always be accurate or suitable
- You should use your judgment when following AI suggestions
- We are not responsible for outcomes based on AI recommendations
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE PROVIDE THE APP "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIRD-PARTY ACTIONS OR CONTENT
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
By using Kook, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
